So, you’ve been thinking about a hot tub. Maybe you’ve consulted our Hot Tub Buyer’s Guide, which can be found Here. Maybe you’ve done some research online. Maybe you’ve used a friend’s or family member’s hot tub, and you like theirs.
But have you started planning to put a hot tub in your backyard?
As a courtesy, we offer a unique service, called a Consultation, which is a complimentary no-obligation visit from a salesperson where you can discuss optimal hot tub placement in your yard, and desired privacy and view. We’re willing to come to you and your own backyard, in the Northern Nevada area, Northern California area, or the Bay area in California. A consultation can be done before or after picking out your hot tub in one of our many convenient showrooms.

Our hot tub experts will help you find the best location for your hot tub. We will also help you find the ideal direction to face the hot tub. Have you considered which way the sun hits your backyard at the time you think you will be using your hot tub most?
We have advice about placement of the hot tub cover and cover lifter also. You will want your hot tub cover and cover lifter to be easy to use. We can also help you find the correct side, so you don’t block any desired views.
And, if you don’t already have one, we can make suggestions about the type of hot tub pad that will be best for you.
Have you considered what size hot tub you want? What about shape?
While most hot tubs we offer at The Spa and Sauna Company are about 7 feet by 7 feet and square or rectangular in shape, we do have some uniquely shaped and smaller or larger hot tubs to fit your needs as well. Some hot tubs are round, triangular or even diamond shaped. And we have hot tubs that can fit as few as two people, or as many as eight.
Our hot tub experts can direct you to the questions you need to ask yourself to find your ideal hot tub. If you haven’t already made your hot tub purchase, we can bring recommendations and brochures.
What about electrical? We will explain how to set up your hot tub, its placement & voltage that will be needed. Most of the hot tubs we sell require 220 volt electrical hook ups, but we also offer hot tubs that work with a standard 110 volt outlet. We can even provide you with a list of electrical, concrete and crane vendors we have worked with in the past.
At The Spa and Sauna Company, we always deliver your hot directly to your preferred location in your backyard. At your Consultation, we’ll evaluate if any special equipment is needed for your hot tub delivery. Most of our hot tubs are delivered by a delivery crew, that places the hot tub on a sled and brings it to your backyard, but the occasional delivery requires a larger delivery crew or even a crane.
